The buying, selling, and trading of Lineage and Lineage 2 content is expressly prohibited as per the Lineage User Agreement and Lineage 2 End User License Agreement. Players of each game should review the respective agreement carefully for additional language specific to each service. Below is an excerpt pertaining to this policy from the Lineage User Agreement: 7. OFFICIAL SERVICE NC Interactive has designed Lineage for play only as offered by NC Interactive at the Web Site. You agree to play Lineage only as offered by NC Interactive at the Web Site and not through any other means. You further agree not to create or provide any other means through which Lineage may be played by others, as through server emulators. You acknowledge that you do not have the right to create, publish, distribute, create derivative works from or use any software programs, utilities, applications, emulators or tools derived from or created for Lineage, except that you may use the Software to the extent expressly permitted by this Agreement. You may not take any action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. You may not sell or auction any Lineage II accounts, characters, items, coin or copyrighted material. The following excerpt is from the Lineage 2 End User License Agreement : 7. You agree to play Lineage II only as offered by NC Interactive at the Web Site and not through any other means. In the event that a user is violating this rule, NCsoft Corporation additionally reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account as per referenced in each EULA: 14. TERMINATION (a)We may terminate this Agreement (including your Software license and your Account) immediately and without notice if you breach this Agreement or willfully infringe any third party intellectual property rights, or if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us, or upon game play, chat or any player activity whatsoever which is, in our sole discretion, inappropriate and/or in violation of the spirit of [Lineage/Lineage II] as described in the Rules of Conduct. If we terminate this Agreement under any circumstances, you will lose access to your Account for the balance of any prepaid period without any refund. (b)You agree that if the service or your account is terminated or cancelled for any reason or length of time, you are not entitled to any reimbursement or refund of any fees or unused access time. As per the EULA, NCsoft Corporation does not allow the sale of Lineage 2 related content, nor does it allow the sale of items which violate the Rules of Conduct (i.e. the sale of 'bots'). NCsoft will be working with eBay to remove the sales of such items on this site.
NCsoft does not support or consent to the sale of Guild Wars boxes or online key codes except through official authorized distributors. Should you wish to become an authorized distributor of NCsoft products, please contact iprights@ncsoft.com with your company information. The resale of Guild Wars accounts and content is strictly prohibited as per the Guild Wars End User License Agreement.
In the event that a sale has been removed from Ebay, players do have the right to contest the sale. In order to do so, they may make a request for review in writing to iprights@ncsoft.com. Please include all relevant NCsoft and Ebay information when making the submission so that we can make a full review of the sale removal. |
